Length & girth logging standards (60 seconds)
Consistent self-reported logs make trends meaningful. These are athletic tracking conventions — not clinical measurements or outcome guarantees.
When to log
- Same point in your daily rhythm every time (e.g. after waking and bladder void).
- Fasted, before mechanical work — shift workers and non-standard schedules are fine; consistency matters more than clock time.
- Log structure metrics (PLE/MRV) before starting session work on structure days.
PLE — Peak Linear Extension
- Press tracking tool to the pubic bone anchor; record to distal apex under peak activation.
- Use the same technique and posture each session.
MRV — Mid-Zone Radial Volume
- Measure flat at 50% of recorded PLE; do not compress tissue.
- Log PLE first when both are tracked on the same day.
Morning readiness (optional in self-directed mode)
- Rate morning elasticity 1–4 before loading mechanical work.
- Two or more low days in a row may signal a deload — listen to numbness, pain, or prolonged swelling and stop if concerned.
Estimated latency
- Self-reported training log only — not a clinical IELT test.
- Log after endurance-focused sessions using the same estimation method each time.
